| Can
only be used on Samples and Synthsounds |
|
| Explanation |
| This
command is used to slide the desired note upwards in pitch and then
holds the end note, |
|
| what
does it do? |
| This
command is used to add colour to your music, not all notes in your
song are just played as they are, getting this colour means
performing little tricks to get different sounds and effects from
that note. Sliding is a good example from getting from one note to
another thus adding some colour to it. Imagine a vocalist singing in
a mono type voice just going from one note to another without using
that space in-between! their voice would sound rather dull. This is
where these little tricks come into play. |

| All
values are represented by HEX
numbers, allowed
parameters for both values are from
00
to

| Value
1 of this
command represents the initial speed of the slide
up, lower
values equal slower slides and higher values
equals faster speeds. The 2nd
value is used
to fine tune the speed in-between the two Notes.
unlike
03 this
command is independent of another note and when the slide up has
reach its final note,
it will continue to replay at that pitch until the note
is either switched off or changed by another note. |

| How
to use |
Insert
the Note
you wish to start from say as the example note, then drag and
highlight to where you wish the slide
up to end on
that track. Then go to Tools
in the Menu
and select Generate
slides
select [01]
slide up and
then enter the the start
values and the end
values for the slide up. click the generate
slide button
to insert the finished command. |
| |
| To
insert the command in by hand you will have to make the Note
continue by
pressing the Enter
key with the
cursor positioned in the Note
part of the Track
and continue to press the Enter
key until you
reach the desired ending position of the Slide
up. U will
notice that a -|-
has been place instead of a Note,
this tells
you that the Slide
up will
continue till the end of the -|-
and finish. There is no need to re-enter the Inst
and CMD
as this will be carried forward. You can however change any of the
two values to get a different effect though. |
| |
| The
command slide
up is useful
for bringing lower octave samples upwards and downwards for that
dramatic effect. beware that this command will stop suddenly if the
speed (Value 1)
is to quick |
