MED Soundstudio DVD   Users Comments   Chris Mancini Just wanted to say a huge thank-you for the absolutely FANTASTIC service I've had buying MED! I've bought a lot of stuff online, and this is undoubtably the best service I've ever had. As for the software, well, I've been using MED since it was OctaMED version 4 on my good old Amiga 600! I've tried just about every other tracker programs that have been available on the Amiga and the PC since then, and none of them have the features or ease of use that MED has. Great work! Thanks again and I hope more people keep using your software for years to come; I'll certainly be telling everyone I know that writes music to try it! Steven Cooley Just to say that I have received my MED Soundstudio DVD thru the post today. I am really happy. I am well chuffed. I have printed off all the help pages so I can debug my head from all the pc stuff that has clogged it since my Amiga days. I recall having hours of fun reading the big instruction manual with its ring binder. It was my first introduction to computer language, and I think was the best ever and nothing comes as close. I mess about with Soundforge and Acid mainly for my music, but I think that the tunes i made with my Amiga were my best. I got loads of samples to play with, and now I can be fully in control of them. Regards to all. I shall send you some mods when I get some done. Soundstudio, complete control, fantastic. Michael Yates   DVD: Well I don't need to tell you how fantastic MED itself is - The DVD is awesome to own now mainly for the extras like all of those med mods and the samples! I've only explored half of it's that big! I can't think of anything to say but thumbs up to RBF for the DVD!! I was impressed to also find some audio plugins, soundfonts, MIDI files and a few free software apps. Took my a while before I could get the DVD spinning, I ordered the DVD way before I got the player Now then! > gotta go, got some MEDing to do. I think MED is one of the best trackers out there for Rave, Happyhardcore and Jungle music and I've made many albums with MED alone! I keep checking to see if V2 is comming. I hope its going well. I wont bore you with asking where is it as im sure when its done you let us know. I honestly think that V2 will open up music to a new generation of people not just us old amiga heads. An updated version will show people they dont need all this expensive kit to make good professional music. I cut my teeth on the Amiga octamed and then purchased a couple of externals kit (the old 4 track or was it 8?? was good but limiting.) 1.7a gave more power with a decent PC and once i got over the illegal function problems it really gave a me a chance to let the creative juices flow! beleive this... there is a lot of silent people out there waiting for V2. I've used it right from the start, years ago, and wouldn't be the musician I am today without it. Gino Mongelli Thank you very much for your email and followup. The soundstudio files worked perfectly. The songs packed from with the Amiga soundstudio with the xpk compression and I was able to make everything load in my PC version. I can't believe I had 150 songs hidden away on my old drive. I've been using octamed on amiga since around 1991 and continue to use it on pc for most of my music editing. MED is the best solution in my opinion. Leyton Carter I can tell yourself and the team HAVE actually put a lot of work in to this version Although I'm still perfectly happy running V1 (yes i know - the old version:-), I will be ordering this upgrade soon to THANK YOU for your persistance with MED. I'm very proud to be a MED user since way back with Octamed V4 on the amiga, and I know what it's like to be short of cash - I'm a music student. You never know, maybe - just maybe, it's because of you & MED that I'm going on to do a HND in music production. I have a great amount of respect for you and the entire MED team, anyone else would have given up by now. Timothy Mills hey i have to tell ya something , i have some expensive stuff like propellarheads reason and rebirth and ACID / mixman pro / fruity loops / and other stuff and some i cant remember. what im getting at is those proggies cost a fair few bucks but out of all the music software i have ever used i have never had so much fun and pleasure as when working with MED on the amiga , i made countless amounts of tracks and when i played them to people they said i had a talent and its a first anyone has ever said that to me and i thought they were just being kind but i moved city and the same thing happened again but i got beter with MED and i was living in a hostel for the disabled and people would allways ask me to play them my stuff and one buddy made me do him a tape wich he plays in his car while traveling . MED is a work of electronic art and realize lots of swet and thinking has gone into it for years wich means the price should go up not down . i find it upsetting that you guys give a great freindly service and do what you can to help people and you only getting peanuts for all of this . who is responsible for making the price so low . have users beem moaning and whining that it costs too much , if they do then that is a poor show. i tell ya what i would pay £120 for this program or even £135 or maybe more for this PC version and im not joking because if thats how much it costs i would pay it because i love MED so much . well i just hope that you are selling enough copies to be able to sell it for practicly nothing and i genuinly hope you are not strugling because i whant MED and you guys to liv forever and not just disapear like others on the net because users are too busy cracking software with patches and not paying for stuff. anyway sorry for talking so much i kinda got carried away with my life and times with MED but i just thought you might like to hear something positive about it, i know that others have had great times over the years with it.  Back to Registration Page Copyright© RBF Software.
