Crash Noise Division (Daniel H. Dean)
GEOGRAPHICA
Since the date of his maternal extraction, Dean has
roamed the major cities of
Texas.
He currently resides in the live music capital of the
world, Austin.
Here
he plans to stay until he graduates from Southwest Texas State University.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Completely obsessed with music, Dean has spent his years
writing hundreds of mods,
recording 4-track demos, and filling spots in assorted bands. His current title
is Drummer/Vocalist for an experimental,
undiscovered band called FORKLIFT.
STYLE AND INFLUENCE
Dean has always been facinated with the translation of
physical damage and
destruction to music.
The tame and fierce forces of nature both go into his
compositions, presented not alone but with an image of hybrid technology.
Dean
draws his macabre and disdainful sound
from names like Front Line Assembly,
Napalm Death, Crowbar, Sepultura, and Fear Factory.
His modern style, applying
almost dance-style beats to the usual eclectic sound is mostly inspired by DJ
Shadow,
DJ Vadim, and New Kingdom.
THE PRESENT AND FUTURE
In partnership with Kurtis Seebaldt, Dean runs the
unfamous company F.L.A. Multimedia,
trying to present to the world more than just a bunch of computer geeks with a
pretty
web page.
For the past few years FLA multimedia has worked on
several games that
have never actually made it to full
completion due to constant setbacks, but
hopefully in the near future such
travesties will be avoided.
